Meet Laura

Laura North

Laura began working with Prospero Teaching in October 2024, she is the recruitment consultant for ECE. Laura works with our relief pool assisting Centre’s throughout New Zealand when they require teachers to cover, whether it is for a day at short notice or for a longer period. She also onboards new teachers both Qualified and Unqualified for relief work or new and exciting permanent opportunities.

Laura began her recruitment journey three years ago and comes from a background in trades recruitment and prior to this she spent 9 years as Veterinary Nurse. She is passionate about ECE after using this being a mum herself and has a great understanding about the growing need for fantastic teachers for our Tamariki. She is here to work with your needs whether you are a Centre looking for assistance with relief staff or a teacher interested in exploring new opportunities either in either relief teaching or a new and exciting permanent opportunity.
