Assistant Principal - Gore
The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with strong leadership skills to help shape the future of our school community. The role includes a 0.75 FTE teaching component and there is a preference for Math, Commerce, English and Science as the teaching subject.
The Assistant Principal will assist the Principal in school management, curriculum development, staff support, and promoting a positive school culture.
The school is an independent school with campuses across New Zealand, and pay above the state salary scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Principal in school leadership and management.
- Support staff in curriculum and teaching strategy development.

- Lead in student discipline, academic achievement, and extracurricular activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the community.
- Mentor and support teaching staff to enhance professional development.
