Pre-school Head Teacher - Lower Hutt

Our client’s centre is looking for a Head Teacher in Lower Hutt to lead their enthusiastic and adventurous pre-schoolers. In this role, you'll support tamariki in their exciting literacy development and empower them to take on new challenges. You will guide a team of kaiako, nurturing children's curiosity and building on their interests as they explore, discover, and grow.


Position Available: Head Teacher (3-5 year olds)
Type: 40 hours per week, full time
Locations: Wellington, Lower Hutt

What we are looking for:

• A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
• A strong understanding of Te Whariki
• Eager to support a team of passionate teachers
• Strong focus on quality care and education for tamariki
• Hold an ECE teaching qualification + NZ teachers registration
