Key responsibilities:
- Deliver effective curriculum and foster a modern learning culture
- Ensure consistent and competent delivery of the New Zealand curriculum.
- Implement the school’s vision, focusing on student achievement and engagement.
- Promote self-directed learning and share knowledge on modern teaching practices.
Experience and skills:
- New Zealand registered teacher with experience across Y3 to 6.
- Strong knowledge of learning and effective teaching methods.
- Experience working collaboratively with other adults.
- Knowledge of modern learning environments and techniques.
- Clear communication and effective listening.
- Ability to liaise with parents, staff, pupils, and the wider community.
- Strong planning, assessment, and record-keeping skills.
