Prospero Teaching are seeking primary and intermediate teachers in New Zealand for 2025.
We are looking for a dedicated educator who will uphold and nurture the special Catholic character of our client school while delivering high-quality teaching across the curriculum. This is a tagged Special Character position, so your willingness and ability to participate in Religious Instruction appropriate to the special character of the school will be a condition of appointment.
Location: Various schools in the North & South Island, NZ Start: Term One 2025

Capability to establish warm relationships with tamariki and whānau
Strong understanding of literacy and numeracy
Ability to cater to the individual needs of students
Team player who is friendly and enjoys a collaborative learning environment
Motivated, caring, and adaptable
A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school
To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:
A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
Have experience in a primary and/or intermediate classroom
Current NZ Teachers Registration
