Mātauranga Motuhake / Special Education

Special education focuses on meeting the unique needs of students with different challenges. This includes personalised teaching approaches, integrating students back into mainstream curriculum when appropriate, and providing structured environments that support their individual learning requirements.

We recruit teachers for various special education roles, including addressing behavioural, social, cognitive challenges like autism, visual and hearing impairments, and ADHD. 

We also support students with physical needs such as full-time pastoral care, cerebral palsy, and limited movement abilities requiring assistance with fine and gross motor skills.
