The Maths teacher job starting in January 2021 and the ideal Maths teacher would be an enthusiastic, committed and creative Maths teacher within their very successful creative Maths Department.


What will students learn?           

Students start a mathematics mastery curriculum with an emphasis on problem solving and mathematical reasoning. number and algebra, shape and measure, ratio/proportion and handling data. Homework is accessed via Hegarty Website. Students study key concept in number, algebra, shape and data, number and algebra, shape and measure, ratio/proportion and handling data. At the end of Year 10, students complete a non-calculator and two calculator Edexcel past papers internally in order to set students for the following year.

  • The position is open to both Maths Newly Qualified Teacher’s and experienced Maths teachers.

 MATHS TEACHERS EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Education or Equivalent

PGCE / SCITT / TEACH FIRST

Maths related degree

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year  (we can provide you with this training)


 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS MATHS TEACHING JOB THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
