PRIMARY INTERVENTION TEACHER – HAVERING

About the job

Prospero Teaching is looking for a strong primary intervention teacher who can work with small groups of primary age children who have SEN & behavioural needs.

Although this position starts in January 2019, the school is open for the right educator to start earlier in the year.

The Primary Intervention Teacher will need

• Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS or QTLS)
• Have UK teaching experience.
• Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a current and up to date DBS disclosure.
• Be creative and innovative.
• Have drive and tenacity.
• Encourage students to reach their full potential.
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Positive and creative approach to teaching

The Primary Intervention Teacher will have

• The ability to motivate pupils
• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
• You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years.
• You hold the right to work in the UK.
• You have a DBS or are willing to complete one.
