About the school and teaching position:

Prospero Teaching are working with a fantastic three-form entry Primary School located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. The school curriculum is based around the inquiry learning approach where students have ownership over their learning. Classes work together in communities based on the Modern Learning environment model where teachers, support staff and school leaders have added expertise in working alongside colleagues to improve provision and outcomes for pupils.

The school are looking to recruit a newly qualified or experienced Primary Teacher for January 2019 to support the school in providing the best possible standards of teaching and learning for the community. The successful teacher will be joining a dedicated teaching team and a school that is really pushing forward to meet mutual objectives. .

To be considered you must:

  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Be able to provide at least two different teaching or practicum references covering the last 2 years
  • Be able to commit to a January 30th start date
  • Be willing to undertake a skype based interview (if based outside of New Zealand)
  • Have high expectations and a commitment to best practice
