About the school and teaching position:
Prospero Teaching are working with a lovely rural one form entry Primary School located in Manawatu, New Zealand. The school is located within an hour from Lake Taupo and also a stone’s throw from Mt Ruapehu for skiing.
There is a strong community ethos within the school and where teachers, support staff and school leaders have added expertise in working alongside colleagues to improve provision and outcomes for pupils.
This is a board funded additional staff member role, so this is a great opportunity for a beginning teacher looking to kick start their career potentially team teaching with another teacher. This is also a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on a leadership role. The Principal is open to applications from both beginning teachers and experienced teachers.

To be considered you must:
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Be able to provide at least two different teaching or practicum references covering the last 2 years
- Be able to commit to a January 30th start date
- Be willing to undertake a skype based interview (if based outside of New Zealand)
- Have high expectations and a commitment to best practice
