The ideal Science teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to a Science subject and be a passionate educator who can teach GCSE Science and specialise in a specific area.
This is an all-through, mixed secondary school located in Hendon, London Borough of Barnet who is seeking a qualified teacher of Science to teach GCSE Physics, Biology or Chemistry.

Teaching Science at key stage 3 and key stage 4

Required to do planning and marking
THE RIGHT SCIENCE TEACHER WILL:
- Hold a BA and PGCE in Science
- Be confident with teaching GCSE
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Science-related degree
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be someone seeking sponsorship
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service (or willing to obtain one)
- Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience
