Acting as a work-finding service, Prospero Teaching have a large range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across the UK. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils across a variety of ages.
In your role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work closely with particular students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups around core subject areas such as Maths, English and Science. You may have the added responsibility of running your own intervention sessions and booster groups with the pupils that need it the most. This will also include working across classrooms as a General Teaching Assistant, supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons.
Although no previous experience within education is required, you will have ideally graduated within the last two years with a degree in any subject area. This role will ideally suit those looking to make a positive impact on the children supported, and those looking to grow and develop within an educational setting.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
