Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a learning support teacher for year 9 students, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Tailor learning plans and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Support student progress
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation

Requirements:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications + NZ Teachers Registration.
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
• Passion about supporting children with diverse needs
• Be flexible and adaptable, catering to the needs of children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student well-being and development.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
