About the centre
Prospero Teaching Australia are proud to be working with this supportive and nurturing Long Day Care Centre based in Zetland. The centre welcomes children, educators, and families from all backgrounds to create a respectful and supportive community. All educators believe in building secure relationships and providing children with a safe base for exploration and learning. Every child’s voice is valued and reflected throughout their practices, enabling the children to be actively involved in decision making. The centre are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to become the Director for their service.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of two years working at a Directors Level
- Minimum Diploma Early Childhood Development, current working with Children Check, First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Substantial experience working in a LDC environment with an understanding of the business aspects of Centre performance
- Your general business experience including administration, HR, organisation and time management skills will be well regarded
- Experience in developing the QIP, fee charging, enrolments of children
- Demonstrated commitment to Early Childhood Education profession including sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its practical application in the LDC environment
- Excellent knowledge of Early Childhood Education models, particularly the Early Years Learning Framework
- Team leadership and relationship building skills, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills
You must
- Be a resident of Australia /or full working rights
- Minimum of a Diploma of Children’s Services or early childhood education and care
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Employment Working with Children Check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to lead in a classroom environment
- A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
- Two professional references
