Let us introduce ourselves: Prospero Teaching are a NZ based Education Specialist Agency that has been established for 20 years, placing teachers in both permanent and relief roles, across Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Schools globally. More recently, we have opened up two New Zealand offices and have since been successfully placing Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Teachers into full time employment.

We are looking for TWO amazing teachers for a homely centre in Onehunga Auckland.

– Head Teacher

– 3rd Year student or a Qualified and Registered ECE Teacher

This centre is looking for a headteacher who has a passion for building and maintaining meaningful relationships with infants and their whanau. Someone who is passionate, patient and ready to support children from the ages of 0yrs to 2yrs old with their daily care routines and development.

You will be working in a centre that’s vision is ‘for children to encompass and develop a love of life, showing compassion and empathy in all relationships, being inclusive, kind, respectful, non-judgemental and proud of who and where they come from’.

Ideally, we want someone who uses their initiative, can utilise the early childhood curriculum Te Whariki in practice and can use proactive teaching strategies to create a calm nurturing environment that supports the routine of the children and the centre.

What you need:

– Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood

– Current NZ Teachers Registration

– Comply with the Childrens Act 2014 compliance requirements

What you need if unqualified:

– Experience with children from ages 0 to 5
