About the Centre:
You will be welcomed into a centre that is passionate and enthusiastic about providing a respectful, responsive and peaceful educational learning programme for all infants and children.
You will be immersed in a purpose-built centre with plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to foster exciting learning opportunities. With an array of wonderful learning resources to cater to children’s strengths and interests, allowing children to explore and investigate the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of dedicated teachers
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre and ensure that it meets all regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement strategies that support the centre’s growth and development
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the centre and make recommendations for improvement
- Manage the centre’s budget and resources
- Ensure that the centre is a safe and nurturing environment for children
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A recognised Level 7 early childhood qualification and current NZ Teachers Registration
- Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
- Previous leadership experience
- Eager to support and motivate a team of teachers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of the regulatory requirements for early childhood education
- Commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education
- Have NZ working rights and be based in NZ
