Prospero Teaching is a NZ based Education Specialist Agency that has been established for 20 years, placing teachers in both permanent and relief roles, across Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Schools globally.

More recently, we have opened up two New Zealand offices and have since been successfully placing Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Teachers into full-time employment.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about working in partnership with whanau, the community and the teaching team to nurture and support children’s growing interests, strengths and ever-growing development.

Ideally, we want someone who can put into practise the early childhood curriculum Te Whariki and utilise the curriculum to guide their practise to provide a fun, nurturing environment.

About the centre:

You will be welcomed into a homely play-based learning where children are valued as competent capable learners.

This centre caters for children from 0-6 years of age. With a focus on providing a high-quality learning environment that fosters empowerment and the development of relationships to support the growth and development of each child and their whanau.

If you are interested in this role then you will need the following:

– Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary

– Current NZ Teachers Registration

– Or in your 3rd year of a Level 7 ECE course or soon to graduate from a Graduate Diploma in ECE

– Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
