Prospero Teaching are seeking TWO qualified and registered ECE teachers for our client centre in Christchurch.

1^st Position- Assistant Manager
2^nd Position - Nursery Teacher

Our client centre is a large whanau focused centre with a supportive team. You would be going into a centre where the community and parent/ whanau input is valued. A centre that provides an environment that is spacious both indoors and outside which enables children to explore and develop at their own pace.

NURSERY TEACHER: WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• Someone who is nurturing, respectful and responsive
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

ASSISTANT MANAGER: WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for Early Childhood Education
• An ability to lead, support and guiding a team
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications (if qualified) - Or about to complete your qualification (3rd year student)
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
• Comply with the Children's Act 2014 compliance requirements
