Permanent Early Childhood Position - Wellington

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and registered ECE teacher or 3rd year teacher in training for our client centre in Wellington.

We are seeking a teacher who has a passion for sustainable and natural play experiences.
A teacher who loves to create stimulating and exciting opportunities that encourage children to create, discover and explore their surroundings.
This reggio-inspired centre focuses on providing a balance between creative experiences, free play and structured learning with the emphasis on having fun.

ABOUT THE CENTRE/ ROLE:
* Better than minimum ratios
* Role of 48 children
* Well-placed ERO report
* Reggio philosophy
* Option to choose 30 - 40 hours per week
* Full-time position
* Age group: Pre-schoolers
* Start: Flexible, as the centre is looking for the right teacher to join their centre whanau

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
* Easy access to transportation
* A true passion for Early Childhood Education
* Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:
* Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications (if qualified) - Or about to complete your qualification (3rd year student)
* Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
* Comply with the Children's Act 2014 compliance requirements
