Permanent ECE Teacher Role - Wellington

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified + registered ECE teacher OR a teacher-in-training for an early childhood teaching position in Central City Wellington.

Our client centre is conveniently situated within walking distance to shops, carparks and public transport. This Central City centre is focused on providing opportunities for children to grow and learn through a sustainable and natural environment. With a strong emphasis on holistic learning this centres curriculum and philosophy encourage children to make connections with their mind, body and spirit though positive and meaningful experiences. Along with Te Tiriti o Waitangi being honoured and acknowledged as children, whanau and staff form strong connections and partnerships with tangata whenua.

• Role: Early Childhood Educator

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for Early Childhood Education
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications OR currently completing a early childhood or primary level 7 qualification
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
• Comply with the Children's Act 2014 compliance requirements
