• Carpark available at the siteProspero Teaching is working with an Early Childhood Centre in Melbourne who are looking to appoint an experienced Early Childhood Room Leader.

About The Role:

As an Early Childhood Room Leader you will be working with the wider team to ensure children at Centre are inspired to learn in a positive safe environment.

• Responsible for the guidance/support/direction/ and supervision of staff, students and volunteers working within the Childcare service.
• To promote positive parent, centre and staff relationships.
• Develop the Children’s Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines).
• Maintain compliance with the OH&S Policy, ensure a safe environment is maintained for Children and staff.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma Qualified in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience as a Room leader in a childcare setting
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
• Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates, Current Working with Children’s Check
