Centre Manager needed in New Lynn, Auckland

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced & qualified + registered ECE teacher for a centre manager position in New Lynn, Auckland.

Our client centre is conveniently situated within walking distance to shops, carparks and public transport. This New Lynns centre is focused on creating a home away from home for children and their whānau. Children are encouraged to explore, play, and learn within a stimulating semi-structured learning environment.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for Early Childhood Education and enthusiasm to support and lead a team of dedicated teachers
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism
• Have previous experience as a centre manager
• Knowledge of the professional growth cycle
• The ability to use the ‘Discovery’ software (would be an advantageous but not necessary)

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications
• Current NZ Teachers Registration
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
• Provide vaccine certificate
