Fixed Term Primary Position

Prospero Teaching are seeking Primary and Intermediate teachers in Auckland and Wellington.

New Zealand is known for its magnificent snowy mountains. Begin a Term 2 position and spend your weekends and school holidays exploring New Zealand’s backyard by skiing the slopes of the North or South Island.

Offering opportunities in private, mainstream, and catholic based schools, working with various communities where learning can take place in single cell classrooms and/or modern learning environment (MLE), with options to commit from anywhere between one term and 12 months.

• Ability to positively engage with the students and staff.
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for teaching
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism.
• A strong understanding of cultural needs and immersing cultural responsiveness into your learning programmes.

BEFORE APPLYING:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications.
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (or in process)
