part time year 3-6 teacher - Hamilton

Prospero Teaching are seeking a year 3-6 primary teacher in Waikato (Hamilton) for our client school for a fixed term position for Term 2 2024 to Term 4 2024. For the right teacher this could be extended or step into a full time permanent role if the opportunity arises.

This position is wonderful for someone who is looking for a great work life balance and that is needing flexibility to fit around their lifestyle at only two days a week teaching!

About the role:

• Year 3-6 Primary Teacher
• Start: Term 2 – Term 4 2024 (For the right teacher this could be extended)
• Location: North Hamilton
• Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons tailored to the needs of students
• Work collaboratively alongside other teachers to create a fun and engaging learning environment
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create a warm and welcoming environment that fosters a love of learning

To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:

• A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
• Current NZ Teachers Registration
• NZ teaching experience is advantageous
• Must be in New Zealand or arriving in New Zealand before 2024
• Able to start in Term three
