Early Childhood Teacher - Palmerston North

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and registered or in-training ECE teacher for our client centre in Palmerston North.

Our client centre is after a teacher who can work in a team, is warm, welcoming and likes to have fun! Someone who values the importance of building honest and trusting relationships with the children and their families in order to develop and maintain meaningful relationships and learning experiences.

ABOUT THE CENTRE & ROLE:

• Pay Parity
• Catering for children 0 to 6 years of age
• Age appropriate and tailored learning space (4 separate rooms)
• Full time
• Pre-school position
• Sustainable practices
• Offers nourishing meals for tamariki

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for Early Childhood Education and values and respects the ethic of care and committed to working in collaboration to make sure whānau and children feel heard, appreciated and welcome.
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications (if qualified) – Or about to complete your qualification (3rd year student)
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
• Provide vaccine certificate
