Our client centre is a not-for-profit community-based centre that values nature-based play experiences that allow children to become confident and competent leaners.
You will be joining a larger whānau of centres who are all dedicated and eager to provide quality care and education for Tamariki.

• Passionate about working collaboratively and leading a team of teachers to operate a high-quality learning environment that ensures quality outcomes for children, whanau, and the teaching team.
• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• Is a reflective practitioner
• Is passionate about working within an emerging curriculum using dispositional learning within Te Whāriki
• Celebrates, values and implements practises that reflect the dual heritage of Aotearoa and embraces cultural diversity
• Activity seeks the opportunity to build confidence and grow as a leader
• Previous leadership experience is advantageous
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications
• Current NZ Teachers Registration
• Comply with the Children's Act 2014 compliance requirements
